This field shows a small portion of a large interlobular duct (*) and of a small intralobular duct (arrow), both lined with a simple columnar epithelium.

One islet of Langerhans (black arrowhead) is present in the area.

The rest of the field is composed of innumerable exocrine secretory acini (+) separated by a small amount of connective tissue cells and fibres.
