Coupe d’un œsophage de chien à proximité de l’estomac.

Dans le tissu conjonctif dense, sous l’épithélium stratifié pavimenteux (E), on note la présence d’acinus muqueux (M) d’une glande œsophagienne.

Un canal de cette glande (*) se dirige vers la surface de la muqueuse.
