Coupe d’une prostate humaine.

Dans la lumière d’une des glandes, en plus d’un matériel sécrétoire (+), on note la présence d’un corps ovoïde très acidophile correspondant à un corpus amylaceum (*).

On peu identifier de nombreuses cellules musculaires lisses acidophiles (flèches) dans le tissu conjonctif inter-glandulaire.
