Coupe d’un larynx colorée à l’hématoxylin ferrique de Verhoeff et à l’éosine.

L’hématoxyline ferrique colore l’élastine en noir (E) et permet leur différentiation des fibres de collagène éosinophiles (C). Dans ce champ, l’épithélium cilié (Epi) a pour assise un tissu conjonctif dense composé principalement de fibres éosinophiles de collagène et de fibres élastiques.

Des noyaux de fibrocytes (F) sont également étiquetés.
